About Dr. Xianwen Kong

Dr X Kong is a lecturer at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK. He is the author/coauthor of a book entitled "Type Synthesis of Parallel Mechanisms" by Springer, two United States patents and a number of journal and conference papers. He serves as an associate Editor for the international journal of Mechanisms and Machine Theory. He is a member of the ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) Mechanisms and Robotics Committee.
