About Dr. Alessia Dorigoni
Alessia Dorigoni received her Ph.D. in Economics and Management from the University of Trento in 2019. She is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher and Lecturer at the Department of Neuroscience, Imaging, and Clinical Sciences at the University of Chieti, where she teaches a course in Consumer Neuroscience. Her research focuses on eye-tracking, galvanic skin response analysis, and facial expression analysis, particularly in consumer decision-making, risk perception, and nudging interventions. She has collaborated at the Neuroscience Consumer Lab and her interdisciplinary approach integrates neuroscience, behavioral economics, and cognitive psychology to explore how individuals process information and make decisions in various contexts, from sustainability to digital marketing. Dr. Dorigoni has published in leading peer-reviewed journals, such as the Journal of Neuroscience, Psychology, and Economics, Acta Psychologica, and the Journal of Environmental Psychology. She has also co-authored books on cognitive sciences and behavioral economics. She regularly presents her research at international conferences, such as SPUDM and EGPROC. In addition to academia, she is a consultant specializing in neuromarketing, decision science, management, leveraging her expertise to optimize engagement and corporate strategies.Dr. Alessia Dorigoni handles review of manuscripts that are submitted under the following topics.
