About Dr. Silvia Baiocco

Silvia Baiocco holds a PhD in management and she is currently an Assistant Professor in Management at the University of Rome Tor Vergata (Italy). In the same University, she teaches "Economics and Management of Tourism and Cultural Activities", "Management of Tourism Firms", and "Marketing". Since 2016, she is the Project Manager of the Post-Ba Professional Master in Economics and Management of Tourism and Cultural Activities and since 2023 she is the Director of Start Cup Lazio-Regional Academic Business Plan Competition. She collaborated with UNWTO Academy, OECD, Italian Institute of Tourism Research-ISNART, Rome Tourism Department, and the University of Ghana in the field of tourism and start-up creation. Her main research interests embrace co-evolution in tourism, sustainable tourism, academic start-up/spin-off. She is a reviewer in several international journals.
