About Dr. Rosa Hendijani

Dr. Rosa Hendijani is currently an assistant professor and head of business research lab at the Department of Business Management, Faculty of Management, University of Tehran. She has received her PhD from the Haskayne School of Business, University of Calgary and her post-doctoral fellowship from the Canadian Centre of Advanced Leadership in Business (CCAL), University of Calgary. Dr. Hendijani has done extensive research on motivation, performance, and behavioral decision making among individuals and professionals. Her research has been published in several top journals, including Journal of Operations Management (JOM), International Journal of Operations and Production Management (IJOPM), and Human Performance (HP). Prior to joining the University of Tehran, Dr. Hendijani has been a researcher and instructor at the Leeds School of Business, at the University of Colorado, Boulder. She is currently extending her research on motivation and decision making and hopes that her findings can provide a better understanding of different motivational mechanisms and their effect on motivation and performance, an area which has created an ongoing debate in the motivation literature.
