About Dr. Ioana Andreea Stefan

I coordinate the Research and Innovation Department of Advanced Technology Systems, Romania. I have a PhD in Computer Science obtained from the Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence of the Romanian Academy. I am the manager of the South Muntenia branch of the Romanian Renewable Industry Association – SUNE, the scientific director of the Romania Advanced Distributed Learning Partnership Lab – ADLRO and a member of the the Black Sea and Danube Renewable Energy Cluster - CERMAND.

I have coordinated the development of software applications for education and business. I have been involved in the technical development and management of national and international RDI initiatives: the European Game and Learning Alliance (GaLA) Network; H2020 Breaking Educational Barriers with Contextualised, Pervasive and Gameful Learning (BEACONING); Design Thinking for Sustainability (DT4S); COST Action 18213: Rural NEET Youth Network; Inclusive Digital Environments to Enable High-quality Education and Training for Disadvantaged Learners (INCLUDEME).
